Forever Free.

 

 

He wants to make my heart like His;

The Gospel’s meaning is truly this.

 

Why is it hard to let go,

Why is it hard to understand?

That all this happened just the way He planned?

 

Why do I say “No?”

Why do I still fight?

When only the Light can be my true Might?

 

He says, “Receive, believe, there’s nothing to achieve.”

Receive, believe, and be forever free.

There’s no fee…

 

Why do I still think I need to do something to achieve His forgiveness?

When the true meaning of the Gospel is this…

 

That Grace and only grace, can save and remake…

Only He can make us new, there’s nothing that we can do…

 

He tells us: “Let go and let me show you the reality…

That you can only be free in understanding the majesty

Of grace that I can offer to those

Who fall broken before me in humility.”

 

He wants us to be free for eternity of all the sin that chains us in.

Not just the penalty of idolatry.

 

It’s not about us and our ways,

But about Him and His grace.

 

He is the only one who saves!

Let every mouth and Heart sing Him praise!

For this is truly Amazing Grace!
